The Role

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Director of Enterprise Sales to support our growth through strategic customer acquisition, in collaboration with our CEO and Head of Strategy & Business Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of originating, negotiating, and closing multi-million-dollar deals in the healthcare space with enterprise payers and health systems, and possess a strong background in early to mid-stage startup environments. This position requires a leader adept at identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities while significantly contributing to our innovative endeavors in mental health technology.

Kintsugi offers a competitive Total Rewards package to ensure our employees are well-supported both personally and professionally. The expected base salary for this role will range from $160k - $175k + Commissions (estimated $300k OTE) and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on your confirmed skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute sales strategies to meet and surpass sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with payers and health systems.
  • Guide potential clients through a comprehensive understanding of their business needs, aligning them with Kintsugi's offerings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate Kintsugi's value proposition.
  • Remain abreast of industry developments, adapting sales strategies to evolving market conditions and opportunities.
  • Embrace a consultative sales approach to lead prospects through to a successful close.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare sector, with a focus on enterprise-level deals.
  • Experience successfully selling digital health solutions to payers and health systems.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing substantial deals, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and managing multi-million dollar pipelines strategically.
  • Strong capability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels, including across a variety of stakeholder personas—executive, clinical/medical, procurement, finance, GM/SVP, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare market dynamics and challenges.
  • Demonstrable experience operating within a startup environment, with the agility to adapt to rapid changes and the intellectual horsepower to quickly translate customer and market learnings into effective GTM sales strategies by segment.
  • Outstanding listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Stellar verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling digital health products for early-stage startups, from early market entry to significant multi-million dollar revenue milestones.
  • Consultative sales experience from McKinsey, Bain, or BCG healthcare teams is preferred.
  • Experience selling AI healthcare products to payers and health systems.
